Terms of service

Last updated: September 16, 2026

These terms apply to your use of Across ("the service"), an independent, non-commercial service run by an individual developer. By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

Across copies events between calendars you choose and summarizes your day and week, as described on the Across home page. It is a private service, available only to invited users, and it may change over time.

Your account

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to access data you are not entitled to, to interfere with the service or the calendar providers it works with, or to send unwanted content to others.

Your data

You keep all rights to your calendar data. You allow the service to access, process and store it only as needed to provide the features you use, as described in the privacy policy.

Third-party services

Across works with calendar providers such as Google and Apple. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Availability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Syncing may be delayed or interrupted, so do not rely on it as the only record of important events.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of the service is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost or incorrect calendar data, arising from use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time by revoking its access in your Google Account settings and asking for your information to be deleted. Access may be suspended or ended if these terms are not followed or if the service is discontinued.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to the operator of the service through the contact details provided with your invitation.
